Terrestrial Roots is an herbalist brand honoring the potent medicine of Hemp for healing. Using locally sourced ingredients, each product is hand crafted to provide the strongest  CBD oil needed to get you through your period cramps, arthritis and more.

As legalization continues to progress within the Northeastern United States, Terrestrial Roots had the ability to expand her brand to include RSO oil (Rick Simpson Oil), a potent cannabis extract made from the flowers of the cannabis plant, known for its high concentration of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). When applied to skin it can reduce pain, treat skin cancer and help with insomnia, although scientific evidence supporting its effectiveness for
cancer treatment is limited.

CBD and THC affect your body differently. CBD is not psychoactive, there isn’t a feeling of being high. THC is psychoactive, the feeling is there. Knowing this, Cindy, the owner, wanted me to create a product line that was completely different from the CBD product line.   Using inspiration from a 90’s pop pattern, intending refer to the “wacky” side of cannabis, THC .
I modernized pattern by adding more space between graphic elements. Placing the shapes arbitrarily then using size to create depth. The soft pastel color palette is meant to be light and add to the playfulness of the pattern.
